The Man, The World and The Order --- An essay in the making

Introduction

This essay is about nothing sort of some breakthrough concept, great research or new findings. It’s a simple effort to understand the present-day conflicts between and within individuals, institutions, races, religions, cultures and civilizations, which are observed and experienced by one and all either through self or the media. I would emphasize the word ‘within’, because the increasing trends of globalization, mixing of cultures, freedom of expressions, knowledge overflow and over-specialization in one thing, leaving others behind unattended, cause a minor difference turning into a major conflict between thoughts inside our minds. In our post-modern era, we could realize that the people are missing both the sense and essence of the vital human factors like Health, Happiness, Cooperation, Conscience, Contentment, Peace, Justice, Law and Order. In fact, we have forgotten the very basics of Man, The World and The Orders of The Creator and thus have failed in bringing a definite World Order.

My narrations are not unbiased, rather, these are on the side of truth. One truth is that the writer doesn’t have any authority over the content of this essay because the facts and truth written therein are already there in nature, in scriptures, in books, and in human beings. He would be merely a reporter, an observer, a pointer, or an analyzer as and when fits, but certainly not an author.

The following analyses and arguments are based on “plane truths as old as mountains”, in Gandhi’s words. Most of the readers will agree to these, though passively perhaps. The contents may be bitter in taste, sometimes, due to its truthfulness, and may seem to be simple and short but it is, perhaps, for good only because shorter the syllabus of a concept, longer will be the time available for practicing and higher is the chance of experiencing Truth. However, these days, few may find it difficult to digest and complex to comprehend because this exercise is almost like learning again to eat from one’s mouth rather than somewhere else of the body, which he has started doing in the name of ‘fashion’, ‘freedom’, ‘it’s my way’, ‘trend’, ‘craze’, ‘guts’, ‘changing times’, or just for the sake of “doing something different from what ancestors did for centuries.”

Understanding Human ---
A Non-Darwinian Being

Since the ascent of Man, there has been three basic sources of knowledge: Science, Arts and Religion in tune with the human modes of learning: Observing, Feeling and Experiencing, respectively. Man and his World have got three dimensions of existence: Physical, Psychological and Spiritual, which are determined by the above three faculties of human endeavours through their respective methods of Experimentation, Expression and Exemplification. By today’s post-modern era, the knowledge of all sources tend to meet at one point and conclude that Man is the only creation which has got one special characteristic of The Creator namely "Higher Intelligence", which is not present in others, and which makes him a creative, considerate and judicious being. This only, perhaps, resulted in noticing the absence of ‘missing link’ when the Man was modelled in the line the controversial Darwin’s evolution theory in 19th century. Presently, the theory of Intelligent Design (ID) is getting ground all over the world, complementing the old Religious model of Adam and  Eve.
Any ideological conflict is originated mainly from misunderstanding, lack of knowledge about each other’s ideas, intentions and approaches, and carried through generations by either indifferent and confrontational attitudes or some vested interests. Let’s try to understand these factors by studying all the established facts, theories and beliefs coming out of the three above faculties. Finally, the conclusion should be drawn after using the tools of Wisdom i-e the honest inclusion of past experiences of Great Thinkers and future possibilities.

The Evil and The GoodLet’s begin with analyzing different human instincts, which induce him to act and behave in a particular way and get a feeling of “joy” in himself. Apart from the basic instincts of hunger and sex, others can be grouped into : Higher and Lower instincts of Man, based on their ultimate effects on the World and the will of the Intelligent Designer – The Creator. The higher ones bring ‘good’ in and around oneself with a visible effect of ‘peace’ and a feeling of ‘justice’, which are detrimental to the survival and excellence of any ‘human system’. Whereas, the lower level instincts, in contrast, cause an ‘evil’ and result in chaos. Joys of submission, forgiving and being patience are leading examples of the first kind and those of hurting, jealousy and cheating can be placed at the bottom of the latter. Perhaps, this range of instincts connects Man to The Creator at one end and His Creations at the other, making him a ‘special being’ in this universe.

Creations and The Creator:
All the human faculties teach us that this universe’s size and behavior are bigger and complex than the measurable and imaginable scales. The distance between only two stars would be indicated in light years and the whole cosmos is so big that, as they say, lakhs of years have passed, the light from some points are yet to reach us. The earth is just of a ‘drop in sea’ size in this cosmos. Again, Man is further smaller in proportion. And through life and medical science s, Man’s inside revealed to us, as yet, is said to be  only some fraction of what he actually is. But, fortunately, the sources indicate that the universe has got a start as well as a finish in both space and time scales. Regarding its creation all faculties agree on the theory of Big Bang and regarding origin of species, there is a consensus around Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.

But, Man is still an exception in these agreements because he does not set properly in the models of ‘theories of speciation and adaptations’ and ‘law of survival of the fittest’, rather, he sits comfortably in his ‘special being’ status as described above. Many a times, he does not conform to the above laws, for example when speaking his mind, caring for his aged parents or working for empowerment of weaker sections of society. Also, his revolutionary nature excludes him from the general evolution model. Other exceptions might be Science’s ‘UFOs and Invisibles’, Religion’s ‘Djinns, Satan and Raakshas’ and other observations like ‘ghosts and paranormal activities’. It must be more than a coincidence that Djinns are believed to be made of Fire and Invisibles are those which are not in scientifically detectable range of Light or Fire. A theory can be that these are few other ‘live’ creatures made of Light waves and are one and the same. This is in accordance with the scientific theory of ‘dual nature of existence’ – particle and wave. These have been created with the nature of light waves exactly the way Man is made of earthly-matter particles, as supported by major religious scriptures. Both Man and Djinns can be called ‘evils or Satan/Raakshas’, as and when their acts and instincts bring very bad effects. They can interact and help or harm each other only in an environment that is mutually inclusive and suitable to both.
Finally, about the description of The Creator, only thing known to us is His form of Noor, which can loosely be translated as Special Light. Only His Characteristics have been indicated in scriptures, such as His Kindness, Peacefulness, Absoluteness, Perfection, Justice, Knowledge, Wisdom, etc. Part of that Noor is believed to be attached to His Special Creation – Adam, The Human. He made every worldly thing in pairs and so came Eve with Adam – Woman with Man.

The facts and The Truth
The man has got infinite number of feelings, the world may have as many facts, but there is only one truth, in Tagore’s words. There was nothing no cosmos, no hell, no haven, no Adam, no Djins, no angels but only one- The creator. There is nothing even at present but only one – His order. And their will nothing again after this universe will achieve its infinite entropy, will became all radiation and terms of hell and heaven will also been over. But only one will remain- The Creator.
Finally at the finish of time scale of this universe, the perfect and absolute peace will prevail again as it was before the start. In between only a relative peace will be achieved due to the very intrinsic nature of disorderedness of universal phenomenon, which the science calls 'entropy'.

The Human System

Studies of Man, in particular, have revealed that he is a compound of basically three elements: Earthly matters; Mind energies; and the Spirit. The first gives him a physical form, next induces psychological tendencies and the last, but not least, actually makes and keeps him ‘alive’. What is this Spirit? It is simply called “the Creator’s Order of something to happen”. The body and mind make him ‘Human’ and the spirit orders him for ‘Being’. Everything of this universe, for that matter, carries that Order with itself, which as a whole is termed as Nature. The absence or withdrawal of that very Order will bring chaos and ultimately the end or the ‘Death’. The spirit has to live in the world but the order says “Don’t let the world live inside the spirit”. The one who succeeds to do so and free his soul from his physical and psychological needs / greed before his “death” achieves moksha, raza, or success in different terminologies.

Perhaps, these ‘Orders to the Nature’ have been formulated and termed as  ‘Physical Laws’ by the Scientists. Again, the Human Psyche tends to act as per either his higher or lower instincts depending on how much his mind and body are inclined towards the Orders. Generally, the Artists in the Society may “feel free” to act either way, good or evil, to maximise their instantaneous joy, but for the sake of survival, they would legislate some self conceived ‘Behavioral Laws’ to keep themselves in order. And finally, Religion also says that the Creator has been Intelligent enough to send His Orders through “selected ones among us” called Prophets with divine scriptures like Vedas, Zaboor, Torah, Bible, Qura’an, etc.

Purpose of the BeingsEverything has got a purpose and so have the human instinct too, even the lower ones. Basic instincts like hunger and sex have got the purposes most clear: the former is for survival of man and the later for that of the mankind. These instincts induce the basic elements of labour and love inside a personality. Any deviation from the purposes is defined as a state of disorderness which should be taken care of and if needed, taken for cure to a house of medicine, management or meditation as the case may be. Thus, medical system, legal system and prayer system are the basic elements of any social structure to sustain the human social order.
Another important purpose of human activities and thoughts is : satisfaction or Inner Fulfillment, which is more spiritual than physical or psychological in its dimension. Hence this imporatant purpose can be achieved only when the efforts of labour or love be practiced according to His Orders. The humans need different sources of knowledge for fulfilling all these purposes.

Sources of Knowledge/Fulfillment
Since centuries there have been three basic sources of knowledge: Sensory perceptions, Intellect and Divinity. All human faculties use inputs from one of these sources for acting on any human problem, priority or passion. These faculties can be broadly classified in three categories: Arts, Science and Religion in tune with the human modes of learning: Feeling, Reasoning and Experiencing, respectively.

Arts, Science and Religion
  • Arts is subjective; talks about everything but in a self perspective. Explanation and detailing are the main methodologies for seeking answers, beauty and joy through the tools of senses and feelings. It makes men creative and revolutionary in nature. But their prerequisites are leisure and self control, in Tagore’s words, which bring sensibility and sensitivity into the subject.
  • Science is objective; talks about the system separated from the self, as much as possible. Methodologies include preposition, induction, experimentation, deduction and conclusion. Reason, Logics and analysis are its main tools to search for facts. It takes inputs from sensory perceptions but goes beyond also through intellectual reasoning and speculation. It's always fallible and hence keeps on improving. It makes one result oriented, productive and progressive in nature.
  • Religion is directive; talks about the creations as well as The Creator's Will, called 'Divinity'. The main inputs come from a messenger, chosen from among the humans, called Prophet. It is not against Artistic or scientific findings, rather, talks of beyond those sensory perceptions, reasoning, speculation, intuition and contempletion. It treats one as a kid always and makes him disciplined and submissive. It can not explained or experimented. It can only be experienced. Truth is its target, unlike the other two, which look for only facts and beauty. It says that facts may be many but Truth is only One.

Keeping The Faith and The Order
Amidst all the present-day disorderedness and in the absence of a definite world order, political or social, let’s find out how we lost the order from our lives and how to bring it back and keep it. While searching to understand the very term, Order, I found that the dictionary shows many meanings :
Synonyms : sequencearrangement , organization , dispositionstructuresystemseriessuccession ;
However, fortunately, all the meanings have got positive dimensions and point towards The Supreme Order and His wills. Any divine order based on Truth, if obeyed in letter and spirit, is meant for bringing peace and order in the self and the surroundings.

But, the basis is Belief. Like a son who does not believe on the parenthood claims of his parents, may not obey their orders and advises to his full advantage, a non-believer also can not be in peace with self or the surroundings unless he believes that every creation in this cosmos is a result of just an order from The Divine. Everything of this universe has got a spiritual dimension. What is Spirit? It is “the Creator’s Order of something to happen and continue to remain so”.
The sun, the moon, the sky, the stones, the trees, the animals or the most important, The Humans, all the beings always carry that order and they have to obey some divine orders from the Creator for their survival, like a technical manual from the designers are always followed for smooth operation and maintenance of a machine. Sticking to the divine guidelines only would ensure a sustainable order in the Human System. The present world has lost the track of the divine scriptures and hence not having the peace and order in any field of human activities even at the cost of generations of men, materials and machines.

The Natural Order says: one needs to do nothing to bring a disorder, whereas an order can be achieved only through some effort or energy. But, the amount of order created will always be less than the disorder produced while putting the effort. This is termed as Universal second law of Thermodynamics for a physical system. However, if the system is psychological and spiritual in nature, like human society, we can achieve higher efficiency in the peace-keeping process simply by sticking to the guidelines of the Divine Orders.

Society - The Law and Order
The nature has got some laws because it follows His Orders. Similarly man also needs to follow the order from him to develop as sustainable and workable human laws. These orders are supposed to keep peace and justice in and around something, only when acted upon the way the Prophets said or did in a balanced manner. Otherwise any act, even good ones, if done to the extreme extend with no sense of responsibility will become an indulgence and thus "an evil " according to the rule of His Orders. On the contrary, an evil act done and regretted later is nullified. Generally an evil act violets an order and called a sin, or a crime depending on whether it affected only the self or system also. Any violation brings injustice and invites violence of one kind and the other reducing the degree of peace. So came the concept of punishment, which brings justice back in the system. And as they say, justice undoes the crime, enabling peace to prevail. Punishment also creates a psychological fear and works as a deterrence and control mechanism in any system of law.

As per the known history the human civilization got its first institution in the form of society, which gave them a platform for utilizing their organizing capacity collectively to make peace, order and justice a practical reality along with their daily livelihood activities. It was headed by prophet or priest, who let the people by examples and people also believe their divine messages and extra ordinary powers. Peace and justice are twin requirement of a social system to keep law and order. Hurting one is bound to affect the other, specially when the system gets bigger in size and complex in behaviour. The universe has got a self controlling property and so have its constituents. Following this theory, human society also brought in the concept of polity, which was used to organize and control larger social system. This resulted in the formation of state in a society for delivering and maintaining peace and justice effectively and efficiently through the specialized tools of security and governance. The king, wisest and strongest among them, and his military, people and their institutions were four major stake holders in politics.
.

The Journey Through Time

The Human story starts with Adam and Eve, from the prehistoric and stone age of African or South Indian region or Mesopotamia, followed by the great flood of Noah around the black sea before 10,000 B.C. when agriculture was reportedly started by the human being for their livelihood. Then came the age of Prophet Abraham in the west Asian region, which is believed to be the land of Prophets and civilizations for millennia. There is a parallel history of Indus Valley and Banne Israel around 2,000 B.C. in the region of Indian Peninsula and Northern Africa respectively. Then came the times of Confucian in China, Buddha / Ashoka in India, Jesus / Jews in West Asia, and Homer, Euclid / Aristotle in the region of Greek. As the history indicates those were the times when institutions started developing and the concept of global society and polity took round. Alexander is the first man to give an effort realize this concept. Aristotle, Plato and their contemporaries were the pioneers in institutionalizing education and democracy in the human society.

Around 600 A.D. came the Islam, final edition of guidelines and Orders from the Creator through Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H.) in the desert of Arabian Peninsula. This way of life is spread to the most of the known world only in 500 years mainly through social interaction and also political intervention, when and wherever needed. Till the middle of second millennium A.D. Islam prevailed and ruled over the Asia and Africa whereas the Christian world was confined in North Europe.

The kind of environment and effort for any activity is mainly responsible for its excellence and progress. Science as a faculty got both the favours exclusively during the last three centuries, with the growth of belief in the theory of determinism. The belief got extrapolated to all kinds of 'determinism' mainly, Newtons physical, Darwin’s Biological, and Marx’s psychological Determinism, for measuring and controlling almost all the qualities and quantities of the man and the world. But, by the end of 20th century this belief and Theory of Determinism got almost busted after the progress of Heisenburg’s uncertainty principle. Darwin’s theory also couldn't become a law. Physical properties of materials depends on the electron behaviour, which again get judged best by putting light on it. But the photon-electron interaction makes it impossible for precise measurement and modelling and understanding, which changed the Classical Physics based on mathematics into "Quantum Statistics" as a main scientific tool. Late 20th century, social determinism (communism) also met the similar fate mainly due to avoidance and rejection of divine guidelines for knowing and controlling the human behaviour.

Till date there have been different cultures in the whole globe. Nomadic of Africa, Vedic of India, Islamic of Arabs, Confucian of China, Aryans of Europe, and latest is the Western of America’s. In the 500 years of Western culture another major field of human activity got prominent importance and place: Economy, which is faculty to organize materials and money for their growth.
The world had many tribal villages in the ancient times and now this has became a global village where tribal / jungle rules and concepts are again taking grounds with backing from the advocates of so called liberalism, artistic freedom and fashion / style.

Conflicts -- A case between Islam and Modernity

Islam and modernity are relative in meaning and application for different times in themselves. Here we will talk about the Islam of Mohammed (P.B.U.H.) and Kuran, the final edition of Allah’s orders since Prophet Adam as believed my Muslims. And the modern world which got evolve under French renaissance and powered by industrial revolution. Islam is 1500 years old and the modernity is of 500 years only. First thing first: following are the main features of the Islam:

The Beliefs:Man is his best creation as yet and Adam is the first man as well as his first Prophet. The journey starts from Kalima and ends there again. It sees religion as a guide and a regulator for all human thoughts and activities with its universal guide lines irrespective of any space / time constraints. It guides one from dawn to dusk, even at night, from Monday to Sunday, from January to December, from his birth to death, through all the phases of childhood, adolescent, adulthood, parenthood, and old age.
Everything is His order, even a disorder is His order of disobeying His orders. His will and His orders are absolute. His general will and orders are called Sunnah, scientifically termed as universal laws. However, He can do anything, even away from His own Sunnah, through His Qudrat, most probably taking chance from plank's constant of the uncertainty principle for the scientist's explanation, which general public may call 'exception' , the divine intervention, destiny, or miracle, etc.

Islam and Truth:
Islam advocates and encourages for seeking truth, rather than running behind the temporal and localized facts and beauties. It guides one to catch the flying bird rather than its moving shade, which is certainly a beautiful sight, but surely not a catchable reality.

Universe was created in 6 periodic phenomenon, also supported by scientific cosmological theories. So, perhaps taking precedent, the Prophets might have started the custom of week of seven days – six week-days for worldly activities and one-day weekend for social mingling, resting, or any other extra curricular activities.

Islamic Practices:Islam takes care of hygiene and environment alike. For example, it orders washing of hands, before taking any meal, or burying any dead body in a graveyard. When the soul departed, the remaining soil should best be mixed in soil only, to convince those who understand signs and those who get only sciences would also finally find this method of “Disposal with dignity” a best option, though only after lot of studies in ecology, medicine and environment. This only makes Islam an eternal guide of life.

Djinns and Angels:There is a parallel worlds of djinns who like men are also created to do nothing but only abide by his orders. They are made up of fires and brought to this world long before Adam landed from the heaven. The ones who accept Adam as his best creation and his Prophet are called “Muslim djinns and others are called Satan”. There is big world of angels for Allah’s “official works”. Djinns are composed of spirit and psyche whereas the angels only have got the spirit.

Islam believes that Allah’s is the only one who feeds everybody, “from a fakir to a king”. As the old adage goes: each mouth come with two hands attached to it, will convince the logicians who are in this modern world afraid of feeding his next child. And the ones who has got some sense and understand signs should get it when they see that a mothers breasts start milking only after her child’s birth and the child refuses to each any thing else than that milk for next six months. Modern medicine also supports, though after a damage of one generation, that mothers milk is complete diet, a preventive medicine against any disease including the modern day epidemics like B.P., obesity, diabetes, allergy, depression etc.

Islam and Peace:In an Islamic order, peace is insured forever: in the form of joy in self, justice in surrounding, and jannah in the hereafter. And the means to achieve these is only one – jihad. The jihad simply means struggle against the low level instincts and their evil effects. It can used even a justified amount of violence, to undo the sins, and crimes to bring the system back to peace. Justified amounts to the largely held opinion: a small violence can be used to bring and maintain a larger justice, the way tolerance against a small injustice is a necessary price for bringing and sustaining the larger peace. Punishment to a criminal can be cited as an example of the farmer and curfew in a civilian area of the later, in a civil legal system.

The Conflicts:Americans say, Muslims largely are terrorist and fundamentalist whereas Muslims in turn for the sake of replying, say that America is becoming the land of animals and bastards and trying to mould the whole world the same way. Literally and factually both are right in their observations because the way Muslims are bound by Islamic fundamentals and use terror in the name of jihad for their survival, the America is increasingly practicing an advocating gay culture, multiple divorces, live-in relationships, single mother, political arrogance, preemptive wars, animal-like behaviour with prisoners etc. in the name of liberalism, democracy and right to defend, for their power, progress and excellence. No wonder, if only animal remains there with no society after the end of communism and concept of man as a social animal.

TRUTH and MODERNITY:Gandhi said. TRUTH IS AS OLD AS MOUNTAINS. and ISLAM tells people the same old truth that was there in Bible, Torah, Zaboor, Vadas and Buddhism. Islam tells again and again for different generations. Because People either forget or goes towards EVIL for fulfilling greeds/insticts. Islam is against any EVIL. SATAN, ill DJINN, Psychologically DISORDERED HUMAN. Evil is anything that goes against the Supreme Order for Peace and Justice. ACTUALLY MOST PEOPLE ARE doing evils in the NAME OF MODERNITY. But, please, don't forget that Modernity is a relative term w.r.t Time, whereas TRUTH, PEACE, JUSTICE, HEALTH, HAPPINESS, LOVE, COOPERATION etc are ABSOLUTE and ETERNAL.
These Modern people may start EATING FROM THEIR ******* in the name of fashion or somethingNEW. Modern people even HATE DOING what their fathers did, let alone Moses, Budhha, Jesus and Mohd.

Islam and Conversion:

ISLAM IS NEVER FOR FORCEFUL CONVERSIONS OR INNOCENT KILLINGS. Otherwise…. Islam never would have prevailed all over the world and people never would embrace it at least in these days. Islam actually always talks in terms of Evil vs Pious, Satanic vs. Sacred, Just vs Unjust and Peace vs Violence in every aspect of the SELF, SYSTEM and SURROUNDING.
And because, these terms are more SPIRITUAL than material/psychological, it derives the GUIDELINES from DIVINE sources like PROPHETS/PREISTS and divine book of KORAN. This is the ONLY book which is PRESERVED inside millions of hearts/minds, as it was at its origin. So, no distortion is Ensured by the Practice of Memorisation.
No Muslim king went to Kerala/Srilanka.... but think how Islam reached there... and in fact muslims are 30% in population. Same is the case for Indonesia and Malayshya.... where 40 crore muslims live. which aurangzeb went to Indonasia/Malaysia, Kerala/SriLanka......etc..??? Who converted Jaipal Yogi/Cat-Stevens/ Yusuf Yuhana/Kamala Das/AR Rahman/ Classus Clay Md.Ali??
Islam propagated through PREACHING and NOT by forced conversion ........
In fact, People embraced Islam to GET the following GIFTS :

1. NAMAZ- best way of prayer, chanting, excercise, yoga, meditation, Social Mingling: all in ONE.
2. ROZA- best way of fasting, cleansing, practicing patience, discipline, unity- all in ONE.
3. ZAKAT- best way of charity, tax, gifts, insurance, investment - all in
ONE .
4. HAJJ – best form of pilgrimage – Signifying One Humanity – Universal Brotherhood.
5. Circumcision- best practice after birth to have basic cleanliness for ever.
6. Cleanliness : Practice of washing Private parts after urinating, also.
7. Earth-burial of deads - environmental freindly DISPOSAL with DIGNITY.
8. Natural/psychological  and Human-and-Environment freindly festivals. (no chemical /no phataka).
9. Jihad : The permission to fight for Rights, spirit of true globalization and for  justice.
10. Equality : No caste system, No colour difference, No race difference.
And to find every good things of LIFE. And They GET also. and this way ISLAM SPREADS.

ISLAM AND CIVILISATION:
No body claims ISLAM brought Maths or science. and no religion does claim so. not Buddha also. Muslims preserved and improved upon all the good things and religional traditions of any civilisation and eliminated only the evil things and customs. improvements upon Roman/Indian sciences like alchemy, algebra, algorithm, ( the name al says it that it's arab), arab numerals, Unani medicines, Archetechture etc. Greats are Alkhearizmi, Aljaabir, Ibn Seina, Alberounie etc.

Literature: Rumi, Saadi, Arabian Nights, story of Laila Majnu, Alberounie, Ibn Batuta, Love poems of Haafiz, popularisation of Poetry, etc.

Philosophy : Ibn Rushd (Averos) Al-Gazali, etc. Rabindra Nath also was a pupil of Rumi and Haafiz's Mysticism and Poetry. His Father went to reclusion in a hillside for 2 yrs and did meditation and chanted the poems of Rumi and Haafiz, and reportedly got beatific vision and enlightemnt, in his words. it's just one example. many more like Kabir and Sai baba evry one knows. Iqbaal, who does not know. even the Critics use his couplets for their benefit.

One should know that West also acknowledges that East (Arabs/India/China etc) only brought enlightenment to West. (i am not talking about light from electricity or sun). Roger Becon, the only learned man of Europe before 16th cen, also got his education from Muslim Spain and later became a professor in newly found Oxford univ in 12th cen. And not to mention the art and science of military, because the world had enough of Islamic militaries.

Muslims Worlds contribution is again great in Modern World too. Because, 20th century Modernity was totally dependent on oil. you will agree if you have some science and engg backgraound. And 2/3rd of used oil came from Muslims: arab, iran, libya, egypt, Brunie, Kazakhastaan, Uzbekistan, Ukrain, and many more.

Islam and Jihad:Is killing an evil thing in itself??? we forget that IPC has got capital punishment. Dhananjay... Godse.... and many criminals were killed by the Law of the Land. A bus driver kills a man on road to SAVE MANY inside the bus. isn't it?????

The KORAN calls for JIHAD against the evils/satans/unjustness/violent-ego of the SELF, the SYSTEM and the SURROUNDING equally. Methods of JIHAD are many. KILLING within the rules of warfare is also one of them.

It is to bring mainly LARGER PEACE&JUSTICE and can be against anybody either Arab-Kafirs, Muslim-Yazeed. … ResistingBrahmins…. Tribal-ChengisKhan…. or any modern evil.

GANDHI/BOSE/BHAGAT/TERESA/BABA-AMTE/MILITARY GENERALS. .. . all did or are doing JIHAD their own way.

Let’s take AurangZeb and controversies around him. AurangZeb’s were the days of military rule. The subjects and citizens wished to have the strongest and the wisest as their ruler. everybody had got a right to prove himself to be the best ruler. and only war between the different candidates could judge, who would be the best. no matter what relationship the candidates had between themselves.

We know that a state, a kingdom or a government is for basically giving peace and justice in a society. Peace can be hampered for a while to bring a larger justice....like a situation of war. and again little injustice can be justified to bring and keep the larger peace around.....like a situation of curfew in any area.

And the expansion of an empire is also not unjust. Mughal emperors did it like Ashoka and Alexander-the Greats conquered lands and made empires. AurangZeb in particular might have been more intolerant towards the injustices of Brahmins on the lower castes.... and also towards the social/spiritual/physical evil acts/rituals that were prevalent in the temples of those days. he had got his own personality and methodology........ open to critism from all. but making this issue a tool of condeming all muslim kings and religion of Islam is a sheer foolishness.... and even dangerous for society as a whole.
When i say..... AurangZeb in particular might have been more intolerant towards the injustices.........
I mean.... it's natural to be INTOLERANT towards larger INJUSTICES..... in fact it's desired..... and so.... jehad is needed. JIHAD means organised effort/struggle to remove/kill the badness from SELF....SYSTYEM....SURROUNDING and if needed those MEN who comes on the way of that effort.

MAN and WOMAN :
By nature, Every Man has got a Monnster in him. and Every Woman has got a Whoure in her. ISLAM restricts the Monnster and the Whoure from growing in them. And guides them become pious. Any body who does or says anything against ISLAM either is ignorant or actually showing that Monnster or the Whoure.
Islam believes in :
  • Women as Assistants of Men: Women is weak from both intelligence and emotions point of Veiw. Physique is already clearly weaker. As Shakespear also observes: “ Frailty thy name is woman”
  • Women as Most Forgived and Cared beings like Children and Senior Citizens.
  • Women can not be Prophets, Best Judges, Commanders. Islam is not for Equality. Rather for Equal opportunity to carry out everybody’s supposed roles in society. Women have got their supposed roles in a family, society. Men have different ones. Role Reversal will bring chaos in society.
  • Dressing is a part of both Male and Females’ life. Be Male or Female, if they abstain from proper dressing………….. they are evils…. And will bring Disorder within and around..
Words of Wisdom:
ALWAYS BE A BADSHAH TO YOUR BEGUM. OR ELSE SHE WILL MAKE YOU A GHULAM.
ISLAM GIVES WOMEN's RIGHT IN INHERITENCE. Women have legal right on property, even if she does not earn anything.
Following is the minimum she gets legally:
1/2 of What each Brother gets from father mother plus 1/8 of Husbands property and earning. plus 1/6 of Each Sons property and earning. Again women DONT HAVE any financial responsibility, whereas her brothers, husband and sons must have other many.

Islam and Fundamentalism :Has not everything got some fundamentals? be it economy, SENSEX, polity, or anything. You know they want strong fundamentals?
But when Islam is talking about fundamentals of Humanity, Truth, Divinity, Peace, Justice, Cooperation, Way of Living. You call it Fundamentalists.
Every human faculty wants to be organised. Organisation is the buzz word for every thing these days. But when Islam (or any religion) is organised and institutionalised. You dont like Organised Religion.
Why? even when the Prophets only taught us all these very concepts.

Let’s Be sane and Fundamentalist.
Dont change yourself every 20 yrs. from christian to communist to capitalist to consumerist to Nationalist to Nazis to Fascist… then again.....

Muslims and Education :MUSLIMS BELIEVE IN BALANCED KNOWLEDGE OF all -- Physical.... Psychological..... Spiritual aspects.
MUSLIMS ARE LITERATE as far as TRUTH is concerned.

They study Concepts of Truth, Peace, Morality, Divinity and Justice, Techniques of Livelihood as well as the Art, Science and Spirit of Living.
We beleive in Revival of Old Truths. Now, please dont talk about modern day civil society, its laws, rules and liberties. Because :
TRUTH IS VERY OLD AND NOTHING MODERN ABOUT IT.

They dont follow modern evils. All will leave these once RAMDEV BABA and the likes will start telling PEPSI as Toilet Cleaner. And when Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Sathya Sai BAba will show some EVIL MAGICS.
EVERY PRACTISING MUSLIM IS A PIOUS VERSION of Ramdev Baba, Ravi Shankar, Charity maker Bill Gates etc.

On Happiness:
Happiness comes from balanced approach towards life. Both the individual as well the society contribute equally towards one's happiness. The basic factors are known for centuries mainly, respect for the elders, love/care for the children&olds, voluntary cooperation, healthy competition, tradition of honest earning and selfless charity, contentment(need Vs greed), nice neighbours, balanced education system, princepled politics, unbiased police/judiciary system, and preferring men over materials, morals over machines, health over wealth, emotions over intelligence, psyche over physique, family over freinds, wise traditions over crazy trends will ensure happiness in one and all.

Everybody knows that there can not be 2 billion cars in the world, that much steel required for their manufacturing and also from where that much fuel and coal-tar will come to run them. Similarly all materials are finite whereas our greed are infinite. So, practising the above factors is the only solution. Otherwise, any lifestyle model which strives for material gain/greed will put us in the vicious cycle of stressful life and crazy developemnt. Finally we will be retiring at forty with diabetes and B.P.

Countering Extremism:
We can reduce the conflicts and differences and counter extremism by initiating the following value-based approaches in our social, political and economic activities, keeping the young generations in mind.
  1. Promoting co-operation and stopping unreasonable competition to help avoiding the young people become eccentric rather than holistic and balanced.
  2. Balanced educational system to create an inclusive and broader-knowledge society for better mutual understanding.
  3. Merit should be rewarded not only with financial temptation but also with a sense of intellectual pride and social responsibility.
  4. Discouraging the children from exposure to the extremes of sex, crime and war in the forms of games and films. Encouraging them for the conventional sports and literature to inculcate controlled behavior and thoughtful attitude.
  5. Insanity is defined as motion without memory, and so is said to be the state of the world without true knowledge of its past. Teaching of true history is a must to avoid any chaotic situation in the society.
  6. Environment of discussion and debate is to be encouraged to bring consensus and understanding between parties while resolving conflicts. Media has to play positive and responsible role in this very effort.
  7. Justice undoes the crime. Judiciary is to be strengthened both quantitatively and qualitatively. Village panchayat court system is to be empowered and number of magistrate courts has to increase to avoid delayed justice to the victims of corruption, crime, terror and riots.
  8. Since, Politics is about policy and power, we have to strike a balance while formulating policies and executing power to give every section of the society at least the minimum level of security of all kinds: physical, political, social and economic.
  9. Promoting the spirit of harmony and adjustment in the society along with the respect for global sense and communal/regional sensitivities.
  10. Community is defined as group of people with a particular identity related to race, religion, profession or anything. In this globalised world, a person can never be exclusively a part of only a single community, as clearly seen in today’s social networking sites like Orkut, where a member is invariably part of at least two/three different cyber communities. So, the obvious message “Communalism is outdated, Secularism is eternal” should be aggressively propagated.
